Marni Thompson-Tilove, MSW, CLC, MMSP
I am a mother, social worker, certified lactation consultant, and training to become a Postpartum Doula. My goal is to help parents transition into this new role with support and compassion by helping them to implement routines and systems that make sense for their family.
With over 15 years of experience working with parents and children both in the home and community, and my two masters degrees: one from Brandeis University in Family Policy and Non-Profit Management, and a second in Social Work from Columbia University, I combine my extensive experience, education and skill set to help parents fulfill their parenting goals and work towards becoming the parent they were born to be. I am passionate about helping new parents become the best parents they can be by learning how to be in tune with their children from birth on!
During my free time, I love watching home improvement reality shows, organizing my house and using my label maker, cooking, and playing with my kids. After 10 years living in a 1.5 bedroom apartment in Manhattan and raising my eldest there for 5 years, we moved to Rhode Island in 2013. My husband works in education, and I manage the sometimes controlled chaos that is our family. I live in Pawtucket, Rhode Island with my 6 year old, 1 year old, husband, and cat named Chicken.
I love helping families bond and learn about one another and I look forward to working with your family!
